Hogarth Pictures - Website and New Artist Needed

Sun Jul 5, 2009, 2:43 AM
Yeah, I know, I'm posting the comic here as well as at my FurAffinity account ([link]) but I thought for completion's sake I'm going to post the link here.

G, for personal reasons, has pulled out of the comic though he has mentioned coming back later down the line. Strips 6 to 10 are being drawn by Serenity as a temporary measure. I've been in contact with artists, looking for a new one to take over from strip 11, but on the off-chance you find this page and think you can help, drop me a note or contact me on Skype.

Damn Good Cinema from Before the 70s

Tue Feb 27, 2007, 10:24 AM
Okay, the other day, a dude challenged me to tell him some good films that came out before the 70s. At the time I couldn't because I was annoyed, so once I calmed down I made my list.

1. A Fistful of Dollars (1964)
2. For a Few Dollars More (1965)
3. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966)
4. Once Upon a Time in the West (1968)
5. Seven Samurai (1954)
6. Yojimbo (1961)
7. The Great Escape (1963)
8. Un Chien Andalou (1929)
9. Meshes of the Afternoon (1943)
10. To Kill a Mockingbird (1962)
11. Frankenstein (1933)
12. Confessions of an Opium Eater (1962)
13. Them! (1954)
14. The Birds (1963)
15. House on Haunted Hill (1959)
16. Night of the Hunter (1955)
17. Freaks (1932)
18. The Wizard of Oz (1939)
19. Psycho (1960)
20. Repulsion (1965)
21. King Kong (1933)
22. Godzilla (1954)
23. The Thing from Another World (1951)
24. The Phantom of the Opera (1925)
25. Dracula (1931)
26. Nosferatu (1922)
27. The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920)
28. Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned to Stop Worryin and Love the Bomb (1964)
29. Dr. No (1962)
30. An arse-load of Disney.

There are so many more I could name, but these are just examples. If you haven't seen them, I suggest you do.

Saw 3

Sat Oct 28, 2006, 3:28 AM
Well, yesterday I went to see Saw 3 with my pal James, and may I say that it f***ing rocked! We're used to trilogies getting worse with each instalment, but this is the reverse! Saw 3 is the best in the set and without spoiling it too much, it rounds up the story perfectly and still leaves that gross charm! I haven't seen many gory films on the big screen, but I gotta say, I'm glad I went! A warning though, it's confusing unless you've watched the first two movies.

Fang Bang!

Fri Oct 6, 2006, 12:49 PM
I just picked up Wednesday 13's new album, Fang Bang, and it's bloody brilliant! It's so upbeat all the time, combining punky tunes with W13's usual macabre lyrics. The new line-up for the band are incredibly talented. I suggest to all metal fans that you pick up this album as soon as possible!
